After creating the email account in cpanel, enter the following details into your email program.

Username: your full email address

Password: The email password you setup in cpanel

Incoming mail server: mail.your-web-address.com

Outgoing mail server: the outgoing server address obtained from your Internet Service Provider.

Alternatively, you can use mail.your-web-address.com as the outgoing server address. Then, in the advanced settings, set the outgoing server port to 26 and tick the box that says "requires authentication - use same settings as incoming server".
